Soon, employment screening practices may be replaced by a more efficient system that quickly matches a person with their personal information, by adding a fingerprint.
The proposed legislation, which would add fingerprinting only to those jobs that work with a vulnerable population, would eliminate many of the problems in record keeping that are a very real part of the background checking process.
The reality, however, is that many are hesitant to be fingerprinted for a job, as they see it as an invasion of privacy.
