Amy Smiley

Amy Smiley leads the daily operations of KRESS's criminal records team, which conducts searches across more than 3,000 U.S. counties and over 200 countries. She ensures her team has the tools, training, and resources needed to complete accurate, timely, and compliant criminal history research. Her department also supports driving history, sanctions, civil, and other specialized searches.

With an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice, experience in law enforcement records, and a paralegal certificate, Amy brings a strong understanding of the U.S. court and criminal justice systems to her role. She uses that foundation to help her team provide complete, understandable, and compliant information that clients can rely on when making hiring decisions.

Amy is a lifelong learner who enjoys turning challenges into opportunities. Outside of work, she loves cruising and is usually counting down to her next trip-or the one after that.
